Gold

An element that some claim shines the brightest but breaks under any pressure. Their magic allows for the alteration of any metal alloys.

Novice (0 - 60)

At this tier, Gold elemental Blue Bloods face great difficulty in attempting to use their magic. Often do their attempts end in failure. For their magic to work, they must touch an item.

lvl1

Level 1 (Requires 0 medals)

By touching already existing metals, a Blue Blood of this level can manipulate the alloys and get their properties to change. However, the exact changes will be out of their control and the effects will result in a muddy or dull looking gray color. The affected areas will also be partial as they will be unable to wholly transform an item’s properties this early on in their mastery. Instead, these items will have sections plated in metals.

lvl2

Level 2 (Requires 30 medals)

Through the advancement of their abilities, Blue Bloods of this level will finally be able to at least focus on incorporating more copper as opposed to other elements, resulting in items touched to turn into bronze.

Intermediate (60 - 140)

At this tier, Gold Blue Bloods will be able to manipulate metals further to create more specific, and desired outcomes. For their magic to work, they must touch an item.

lvl3

Level 3 (Requires 60 medals)

Midas Touch – The ability to wholly turn items into different metal alloys such as bronze, silver, steel, and gold. However, none of these metals are perfect in form and are likely to be mixed with other minerals/elements, essentially lessening the quality of each metal. An example being that Gold would have a high amount of copper, making it less malleable than pure 24 karat gold.

Additionally, items are no longer only partially transformed or plated. The entire item’s properties will be affected if desired.

lvl4

Level 4 (Requires 100 medals)

Pure Metals – At this level, the quality of the metal will have been further achieved as the Blue Blood can now manipulate metals into the exact forms that they desire.

Edible Gold – Due to this perfected ability, Blue Bloods can create edible sheets of either gold or silver over food.

Advanced (140 - 240)

At this tier, the ability of metal manipulation takes a shift towards more biological impacts. For their magic to work, they must touch an item or person.

lvl5

Level 5 (Requires 140 medals)

Tears, saliva, and blood may now carry properties of gold or silver.

lvl6

Level 6 (Requires 190 medals)

Metal Imprisonment – Midas touch now works on non-magical individuals. However instead of turning into a solid metal, touching a person will inflict them with a magical illness that slowly plates their body in gold. It takes approximately 24 hours for the entire body to be encased in metal. The cure is submerging oneself in water.

Expert (240 - 360)

At this tier, Blue Bloods will be able to manipulate the shape of metals they touch as well as detect existing metals within the earth’s crust. For their magic to work, they must touch an item or person.

lvl7

Level 7 (Requires 240 medals)

Metal Detection – Through touching the soil, a Blue Blood will be able to sense metals within the earth’s crust and determine their exact location and depth.

lvl8

Level 8 (Requires 300 medals)

Metal Manipulation – The ability to manipulate metals by shifting their shape/form.

Master (360 - 500)

At this tier, Gold Blue Bloods will be able to affect the state a metal is in whether it be for repair or for destruction. For their magic to work, they must touch an item or person.

lvl9

Level 9 (Requires 360 medals)

Polish – The ability to reverse the effects of rust and other chemical damages caused to metal. By polishing a metal, its durability increases and all blemishes in the item is repaired.

lvl10

Level 10 (Requires 500 medals)

Corrosion – The opposite of the ability polish. Blue Bloods at this level of mastery can corrode/deteriorate metals at an accelerated rate.
