Gem
Minerals, rocks, gems and any earthen material can be freely manipulated or enhanced by users of this magic.
Novice (0 - 60)
At this tier, Gem users have minor control over the natural elements found in the earth’s crust. They can manipulate their movements and detect the whereabouts of certain elements. The range to which they can work with begins at 5 feet/1.5 meter.
lvl1
Level 1 (Requires 0 medals)
By hovering their hands over any terrain, they can cause minor vibrations to occur. This is not necessarily a form of vibration magic, but more so a reaction between the User and the minerals itself.
lvl2
Level 2 (Requires 30 medals)
For every natural mineral a Gem Blue Blood familiarizes themselves with, they will be able to detect whether said mineral is buried beneath the soil or not. They cannot determine the exact depth the mineral is located, but they can get a sense of their presence.
Intermediate (60 - 140)
At this tier, users gain further abilities which enhance their mastery of manipulation of existing minerals, rocks and gems. The range of their magic now extends itself to 10 feet/3 meters.

Level 3 (Requires 60 medals)
Seismic Sense – The ability to sense vibrations in the earth’s crust no matter how small.
Mineral Manipulation – The ability to manipulate minerals, rocks, and gems to loosely move around without direct touch. At this level, these minerals cannot be formed compactly.
lvl4
Level 4 (Requires 100 medals)
Gem Manipulation – At this level, Gem Blue Bloods can compactly form minerals, rocks, and gems then use them as projectiles or for other uses. They can only lift as much weight as they are normally physically capable of.
Advanced (140 - 240)
At this tier, Gem Blue Bloods begin learning a form of magic that allows them to enchant stones and other minerals for limited uses. The range to which they can work with is now extended to 15 feet/4.5 meters.

Level 5 (Requires 140 medals)
Gem Enchantment – The ability to enchant a Gem that can cause one of a few minor effects which can then be granted to someone.
Effect 1: Detection stone, by fusing blood, material, or energy of a given thing, person, beast, or entity, these stones glow brightly in the presence of whatever the stone was fused with. This stone can either work as a tracker or an alert.
Effect 2: Barrier stone, by carrying this enchanted stone, it will protect an individual from one impact before shattering.
Effect 3: Terrain stone, by using this stone on an unstable ground (quicksand, mud, water, etc.) minerals are brought to the surface to create a stronger more compact platform to stand on. This stone’s magic depletes after one hour of use.
lvl6
Level 6 (Requires 190 medals)
Stone Scrying – The ability to take a mineral, rock, or gem and use it as a medium to perceive what is going on elsewhere. For this to work, it requires two pieces that have been enchanted beforehand. One to see through into the other’s location. This allows them to hear, see, and even smell the surrounding area of the opposite mineral, rock, or gem.
Expert (240 - 360)
At this tier, the user will begin to learn how to create specific stones through transmuting existing minerals. The range to which they can work with is now extended to 20 feet/6 meters.
lvl7
Level 7 (Requires 240 medals)
Stone Transmutation – The ability to transmute existing minerals into a specific type of stone. A Gem Blue Blood can learn up to three stones at this level.
lvl8
Level 8 (Requires 300 medals)
Petrification – The ability to petrify any earthen material or objects. (Plants, plastic, wood, cloths, etc.)
Master (360 - 500)
At this tier, Gem Blue Bloods will learn how to use their magic in ways that will aid them more passively. The range to which they can work with is now extended to 25 feet/7.5 meters.
lvl9
Level 9 (Requires 360 medals)
A Blue Blood at this level of mastery can now learn up to five stones.
Golem Creation – Gem Blue Bloods can create miniature, non-sentient golems out of earthen material to perform a single task before falling into a pile of rubble. At most, they can only have two golems present.
lvl10
Level 10 (Requires 500 medals)
Gem Protection – The ability to passively deflect minor oncoming attacks by summoning minerals, rocks, or gems to block them. This ability does not work where there is no earthen material to work with.
