Typical Appearance
Usually have color palettes based on gems, crystals, or colorful stones. Rocky, tough, and durable, crystal dragons have hardened scales that can sometimes even be used for sharpening swords or weapons. Their bodies are typically large and bulky, and yet retain elegance despite their size. They resemble a maximum of two gems.

General Abilities
Gem dragons harbor vast amounts of energy. They resonate with many of earth’s natural stones. They are built sturdier than most dragons yet are prone to chipping if the impact is hard enough. Their recovery rate is slightly faster than the average dragon’s. These dragons resemble some of the most beautiful stones in the world with their iridescent glow and colorful scales. Some of these dragons may not be able to fly without the use of magic due to the type of wings they may have.
Seismic Energy - Can cause small tremors and shake the earth beneath them.
Terrain Manipulation - The ability to manipulate terrain whether it be to break down rocks, toughen dirt, or create quicksand.
Gem Creation - Can create any gem, it takes a high amount of energy to do so and exhausts these dragons quickly.

Natural Disaster - To control the terrain of the earth to cause natural disasters such as landslides, rockfalls, sinkholes, and earthquakes. They can also create land formations such as small mountains and form cliffsides or assemble waterfalls.
