History
Aldwin doesn't remember much of his early life such as where he was born or if he even has any family to begin with. All he knows is that he lived in Atlantis for most of his life so when the Vaakish attacked, Aldwin was there, ready to fight and took much pleasure in fighting them. Throughout the conflict, Aldwin was greatly against getting help from these strange people who he saw as nothing more than religious nuts, telling them to solve their problems through prayer.
Watching how desperate the city was getting to the point where the water itself was being poisoned, Aldwin developed a hatred for the Vaakish. That hatred grew when they deemed the Atlantean people parasites and proclaimed that war would be the end result. Deciding that destroying them would be the best way to deal with the situation, Aldwin wasted no time in striking out on his own, finding small parties of Vaaskish, too close to the city and either torturing them for information, or killing them outright.
As time went on, he grew more violent, the the point where even Atlanteans that were trying to flee the city weren't safe from his wrath. If he noticed people trying to abandon the city when it needed them most, he saw no issue with ending their lives and more than likely caused rumors of a monster attacking any who travel too close to the city of Atlantis.
When they finally struck, Aldwin was there and by this point he was fighting just to fight. Casualties were fine as long as the Vaaskish were among the dead. However, he was struck from behind while rampaging and collided into the ground right as the technology the city had been working on for so long was activated, causing the city to sink to the depths.
Aldwin awoke in his human form with no memory and an open injury that was sore to the touch. He tried to get a grasp of his surroundings and noticed a little robot watching him from behind a building. He tried to get up and felt a wave of nausea as flashes from the battle raced through his mind, causing him to collapse. The robot ran to his side, trying to help him up despite it's little arms not doing much.
He finally rose to his feet, shaken by the vision but decided he would try and find out where he is and what happened. Scooping up the robot gently and placing it on his shoulder, he found someone who seemed less confused than he was. A strong looking old woman who immediately called him by name and told him she was glad he made it.
Filling him in on the situation, he was brushed up on the conflict between Atlantis and the Vaakens and his role as one who fought to defend the city. Realizing he had amnesia, the woman decided to leave out some of the more intense details, not wanting to push him too hard but warned him that his actions in the past, may make it hard for people outside the city to trust him. Even some people in the city may have a hard time.
The woman's name was Charlotte and she let Aldwin stay in her attici he helped around the house and earned his keep. Aldwin now has to decide is he going to run from his past actions or face them head on? Upon remembering everything will he revert back to the cruel dragon he was or will he try and be better than that? Most of all, will his past actions lead to his own demise from those he's wronged? It's time to find out
