The eldest and only child to the leader of the Tachibana clan in Chikuzen, she was granted select freedoms that other noble women were not given during that time. Amongst them was being taught how to ride; to fight using the naginata and archery, whether on foot or on horseback; and ultimately, the way of the warrior. However, it was not all that she was taught; the life of a woman in court was one full of many expectations and lessons that became second nature. While her father would allow her to go on surveys of the land to purge it of both problematic men and demons, matters of court was something else. Aikihiko would entertain the folly of the men seeking her hand, slipping into a mask befitting the rumours of her beauty to always turn them down in the end. Whether peacefully or through a carefully calculated 'accident' against her person.

One day she met a dragon, and a deal was made. He was to be her spy in scouring her lands and that of her enemies to report any movement to her. In exchange, she would give him her time, and they would never know each other by their names, only by 'Human' & 'Dragon'. After all, it would be no different than when she would waste time with the sons of interested lords, however, she would not risk a form of attachment, no matter how small. Thus this was the case for many months, even as things slowly showed a change from the painted blossoms on her skin to the possessive nature of the dragon in wanting to know her name.

But it all came to an end. Her alliance with the dragon, her famed beauty and soon: her life. During a battle afterwards to intercept an enemy clan's group, she encountered a female dragon with striking familiarity. Without time to react, she was cursed to be sealed within an ornament to be lost to time.
